The Easiest Macaron Recipe (w/ Instructions Included) šŸ˜‹

If you are struggling with you current recipe or want to start a new recipe from scratch, this recipe works every time!

What you'll need

  • 1 c powdered sugar

  • 3/4 c almond flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 2 egg whites

  • 1/4 c sugar

  • 1/4 tsp of your extract of choice

Instructions ( makes ~15 standard size macarons)

  • Whip egg whites, once foamy add sugar and salt. Stop whipping until you have stiff peaks

  • Sift your almond flour & powdered sugar into your egg whites, start folding ( this is typically where I add food coloring & extracts)

  • Fold until you have a nice flowy consistency

  • Add to piping bag and pipe

  • Preheat your oven to 320 degrees and let macaron tray sit out for about 30 mins or until you can easily touch the tops of the Macs

  • Once Macs are ready, place in oven and bake for about 18-20mins (20 mins will be more on the crispy side)

  • Wait until they cool, and fill! Be sure to let them mature for at least 48 hrs and enjoy!
